About us

In 2014, Danielle Cummings moved to New York City to see the arts restored to their heavenly purpose and to see people from every tribe, tongue, and nation experiencing the fullness of the gospel in their lives. For years, she followed God step-by-step as the arts created amazing avenues of ministry. She joined Cru’s Transform Arts team as a volunteer staff member and hosted budding artists on summer mission trips, where she met actor Amy Pan. Friends and strangers encouraged Danielle to join a sending organization and organize her work into a non-profit; Amy agreed to join, and thus ReNew York was born.

ReNew York is a department of Artists in Christian Testimony International. You can learn more about A.C.T. Int’l, contact us through our site or email us at hello@renewyork.art if you have further questions — and we recommend checking out our FAQ page!

Rev. Danielle Cummings

Director
danielle@renewyork.art

Rev. Danielle Cummings has an M.A. in Ministry in the Global City at City Seminary of New York, after receiving her B.A. in English at the UT Austin. She is passionate about reading and writing, but also relationships and connection, and honestly, this is the daily struggle of her life. Books? Or people? Ughh BOTH! She's an aspiring novelist, an award-winning playwright, and an accidental filmmaker. Ask her about New York City history, hand-copying the Bible, or her passion for teaching!
